Hi Bros. & Sisters in Christ! I’ve been wanting to share this weeks ago but then there are lot of things that consumed me. Well anyway, here it is! (‘O lola, magshare na ko ha! Hehehe….)

This is about the mother of our late bro. Ely boy, although I don’t know her much aside from the casual meetings that we had but let me share to you the impact she has given me as a mother. I started to notice her the time she started accompanying our late bro. Ely boy to church and prayer meetings when the latter was already very sick. Deep inside me was a strong admiration of her strength and love because it was not that easy to carry the burden of having a very sick son and a sick husband and at the same time with financial difficulties. Another thing is her strong conviction to God that made her sustain until the last breath of our late bro. Ely boy. If most of us admired bro. Ely boy for his strong faith in God inspite of his sickness but I think and believe that what made him even stronger is the love & support of his mother. My heart was in pain during the wake of bro. Ely boy reflecting about his mother’s pain of losing a husband and now a son. But what amazed me was that sense of peace in the face of his mother. This reminds me of the book “The Life of Mary as seen by the Mystics” which I have read sometime ago, it is here where I learned about “The Twin Hearts.” This book was also the basis of Mel Gibson’s film “Passion of Christ.” Anyway, I was searching for that pain on her face but God was really an amazing God because of the grace He has given to His daughter! It really takes to be faithful to God in our journey in life to have that peace. Right now, his mother was requesting us to hold a prayer meeting in their house. After attending several prayer meetings with her late son, I think she has considered herself a member of our community too. And I think this will be our great consolation to her after losing a son aside from the financial assistance we gave during her son's sickness. And in behalf of her family, thank you so much for our bros. & sis who have shared their treasures. Surely our brother Ely Boy will pray for us when he is already in the Kingdom of God.

That, Bros.& Sis made her “my little hero” at present although there are still a lot of people that impacted my life which I am going to share the next time.

God bless us all!
